Security Officer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Mobile Patrol Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. This position is for a combination of 2nd shift & 1st shift.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full time
• Shift: 2nd and some 1st
• Hours: 4:30pm-10:30pm & 10:00am-7pm
• Duties: Mobile patrol services

This role involves patrolling assigned locations, monitoring premises, preventing loss, and responding to incidents as needed.

Additional Opportunities

• Additional shifts are available at other sites for officers interested in picking up extra hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and parking lots.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to deter theft and vandalism.
• Maintain surveillance using CCTV systems and report any suspicious activities.
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.

Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems is beneficial.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is an asset.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
