About Us
The Behavioral Health Crisis Center of Eastern Idaho (BHCC) is Idaho’s leading flagship Crisis Center, providing immediate support and stabilization services to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. Our 20-bed facility offers short-term stabilization with the goal of reducing emergency room visits and incarceration while supporting our community and healthcare partners.
Position Summary
The Behavioral Health Crisis Center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Due to the nature of our services, security coverage is required at all times. We are seeking a dependable, professional, and team-oriented Security Officer who is willing to engage with clients, support staff, and help maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for both clients and employees.
BHCC Security Officers are non-lethal security personnel who will receive taser certification through private patrolman training, as well as handcuff certification and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training. The Crisis Center is willing to provide training and certifications to qualified candidates. Applicants who already possess related certifications or experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

By the completion of the 90-day training period, qualified candidates will have the opportunity to become a certified Level 2 Security Officer/Private Patrolman with multiple certifications applicable to BHCC operations.
