Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Desk Driver in Beatrice, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer, where you will greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, issue badges, and help manage vehicle and pedestrian entry. You will monitor activity at key points, complete routine patrols and checks, and document security-related observations using a computer or tablet. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, backed by an agile, reliable, and integrity-driven team.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Control access at gates, guard shacks, and/or entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, coordinating truck and contractor check-in, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems; document security-related activity in daily reports and communicate observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
