Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Screening in Bennettsville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support daily operations with strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and attentive access management. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Monitor gates, doors, badge systems, and visitor logs to help to deter unauthorized access and support orderly movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries throughout the facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, maintenance issues, and other security-related matters within production, warehouse, and exterior areas.
• Support site operations by following post orders, reporting policy violations, and assisting with visitor management, truck traffic coordination, and other access-related tasks in a food and beverage location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
