As a Security Officer Full Time Rover in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a major airport government location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support travelers and staff through outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.77 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and/or credential checks as assigned, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or unusual conditions.
• Support Allied Universal team communication by relaying important information to supervisors, client representatives, and/or first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
