Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government airport location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this dynamic role, you will support travelers and staff through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative workplace.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Job Schedule:

• 20+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned areas, access points, terminal-adjacent spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor authorized entry activity, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Complete routine reports and document incidents, patrol observations, and/or notable activity in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
