Job Description

As a Security Officer Badge Screening in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Monitor entrances, checkpoints, and credentialing points, helping to deter unauthorized access by verifying identification, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation in accordance with post orders.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, access control issues, and other security-related conditions that may require reporting or follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
