As a Security Officer - Building Patrol, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

Respond to incidents, property concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations.

Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity to help support property operations and help to deter unwanted behavior.

Assist with addressing tenant and visitor inquiries, support daily building operations, and complete required reports related to incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:

A New York State Security Guard License is required.

Applicants must be 21+ years of age.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
