Job Description

As a Security Officer - Clinic Perimeter Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and respond to staff, patient, and visitor needs with strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hospital location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting concerns through the proper chain of command.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive activity.
Monitor access points and visitor traffic, provide directions, and help maintain orderly movement in lobbies, waiting areas, and/or other common areas.
Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
