What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, gates, yards, and other restricted areas.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related observations, visitor activity, and access events according to site procedures.

Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers regarding entry requirements, directions, and security-related rules for the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, operational areas, and the perimeter, as permitted by post orders and site conditions.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
