Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Route in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location as an unarmed patrol professional in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine mobile and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will support daily operations with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site instructions.
• Support branch operations by observing customer traffic, assisting with directions, and following post orders related to opening, closing, and after-hours security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
