As a Security Officer Unarmed Day Shift Patrol in Clayton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness and customer service needs. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, donors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify potential concerns and report security-related, maintenance, and/or environmental issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and compliance with site policies and procedures.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns in a clear and timely manner, and assist with direction during alarms, medical events, and other onsite situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
