Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, screen people and/or materials, and help support smooth daily operations. In this visible role, you will provide strong customer service, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and contribute to a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening activities, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and report unusual activity, policy violations, or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help support security-related operations, noting issues such as damaged gates, unsecured access points, and/or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
