As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol Museum in Carleton, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a tech and media location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and help identify and report security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in line with Allied Universal driver policy requirements, with patrols completed on foot and by vehicle. You will support access points, communicate clearly, and deliver customer-focused service while working with a team that values integrity, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations per post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or other security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor traffic, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and assist with directing visitors to appropriate destinations.
Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity in written reports, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
