What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, riders, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and public areas, observe for policy violations or suspicious behavior, and complete detailed activity and incident reports.

Support crowd management, wayfinding, and public assistance during daily operations, service disruptions, and/or special events while following post orders and client-directed procedures.
Minimum Requirements:

Have 1+ years of security-related experience.

Be 21+ years of age.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Handcuffing certification is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
