Pay Rate: $29.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, riders, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe for policy violations or suspicious behavior, and complete detailed activity and incident reports.
• Support crowd management, wayfinding, and public assistance during daily operations, service disruptions, and/or special events while following post orders and client-directed procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
