Job Description

As a Security Officer Entrance Screener in Fort Myers, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a dynamic tech location, helping monitor access points, conduct screening activities, and support a secure, welcoming environment. You will maintain a visible presence, assist with routine site observations, and deliver strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
Screen employees, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with post orders and location policies, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and supporting follow-up actions as needed.
Monitor entry points, credential checks, and visitor processing to help to deter unauthorized access and support orderly movement throughout the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while observing for security-related issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
