What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and access control policies at a government location.

Screen people, bags, packages, and/or personal items in accordance with posted procedures, and report prohibited items or unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating relevant details to appropriate personnel.

Monitor entry points and assist with directing foot traffic, verifying credentials, and supporting orderly movement through screening areas while following site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening zones, lobbies, and/or surrounding access areas as directed, noting maintenance issues, hazards, or other security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
