Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks.
• Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and vendors while maintaining accurate logs of entries and exits
• Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR if trained
• Enforce property policies related to loss prevention and conflict management with professionalism and tact
• Maintain detailed incident reports and shift logs to document daily activities and any security concerns
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Certification in first aid, CPR, or emergency response procedures is preferred (DPSST CERTIFICATE REQUIRED)
• Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and conducting visual inspections
• Knowledge of conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations effectively (TRAUMA INFORMED CERTS are a plus)
• Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and visitors
