Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, hallways, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as conditions vary by site.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, disruptive behavior, and/or other unusual activity within the healthcare location.
• Support hospital or medical center operations by assisting with visitor directions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders and incident reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital vaccine requirements must be met.
• Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include the morgue.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be willing to restrain individuals in a hospital setting when required.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
