Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. In this role, you will support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, agile approach while helping staff, patients, and visitors throughout the location.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting of unusual activity.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and visitor activity, support staff with security-related requests, and document incidents, observations, and/or policy violations in a timely manner.

Assist with handling medical facility protocols such as restricted area monitoring, after-hours access activity, and coordination with site contacts during urgent events.
Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Required hospital vaccines must be completed or provided as applicable.

Ability to work in and around a hospital morgue is required.

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.

Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
-
Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
-
At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
