Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas while helping to support visitor management, access control practices, and general order throughout the location.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports, and communicate clearly with patients, visitors, staff, and first responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be willing to work in a hospital morgue environment.
• Be able to restrain individuals when required.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
