Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with store management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter zones, helping to identify unusual activity and policy violations.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and assisting with crowd management during busy business hours and special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
