Job Description

As a Security Officer - TWIC Screener Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen personnel and deliveries, and complete routine patrols to help discourage security-related incidents. You will stay highly visible, communicate clearly with team members and site leadership, and provide customer-focused support while using technology to document activity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific security-related procedures, shipping and receiving protocols, and emergency response activities as directed.
Screen employees, contractors, and visitors at designated entry points using approved methods such as ID verification, magnetometer and/or x-ray equipment, and bag or parcel inspection in accordance with posted policies.
Monitor access points, staging areas, and screening lanes to help identify prohibited items, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations, and report findings through established notification channels.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and emergency services when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, warehouse floors, and perimeter areas to help identify unsecured doors, unauthorized persons, and/or unusual conditions; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess a TSA issued TWIC.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
