As a Security Officer - Medical Center - Morning Shift in Smyrna, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with onsite personnel and/or first responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and observe visitor and staff movement to help to deter disruptions, support site rules, and document security-related concerns according to Allied Universal and location guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Hospital vaccinations are required.

Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
