You will conduct routine patrols and security-related checks across the campus, maintain a visible presence to help reduce incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and requesting additional support as needed.
Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor wayfinding and policy compliance, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance issues through established channels.
Complete routine documentation such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and pass-downs, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

Hospital: Vaccines are required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Hospital: Restrain Individuals is required.
Baton Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Handcuffing Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
