Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support site personnel with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, operational areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or access authorization as required, and support visitor and vehicle screening processes in accordance with site protocols.
• Communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, and/or policy violations observed during assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
