As a Security Officer - Evening Perimeter Rounds in Waimanalo, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a higher education location, you will monitor and patrol buildings and grounds, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet students, faculty, staff, and visitors with strong customer service, communicate clearly, and report concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of campus buildings, classrooms, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor and report security-related hazards such as propped doors, damaged locks, poor lighting, and suspicious behavior, and submit timely reports per site requirements.
Support campus operations by assisting with visitor directions, after-hours building checks, and coordinating with campus personnel during special events and/or high-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
