As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, students, and visitors while delivering a welcoming customer service experience. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, residence hall exteriors, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor access points and observe for unauthorized entry, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations; help to deter misconduct through high-visibility presence and professional communication.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd control, escorts, and/or direction during campus events.
Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and logs, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or emergency response partners as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
