As a Security Officer - Overnight Residential Driving Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and amenity spaces, report maintenance or security-related issues, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Assist with access control activities, visitor interactions, and resident concerns while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
