Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, where you will patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support guests and staff through clear communication, quick response, and a caring, professional presence while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel or resort environment.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, guest access areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and other assigned locations for access control concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, and document observations in accordance with post instructions.
• Assist with hotel or resort operations during disturbances, alarms, medical events, and/or other service-related calls while maintaining a courteous presence for guests and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
