Security Officer Parttime ( South County Area )

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Mobile Patrol Security Officer to join our team in the South County area of St. Louis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing loss, and responding to emergencies while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

This is a part-time weekend position for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday overnight shifts.

Shift: 3:30 AM – 7:30 AM
Location: South County, St. Louis Area

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and parking lots
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assess situations, and take appropriate action
• Implement loss prevention strategies to deter theft and vandalism
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, and report suspicious activity
• Provide First Aid and CPR assistance when necessary during emergencies
• Work closely with law enforcement agencies when required
• Effectively manage conflicts while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities during shifts
• Conduct mobile patrols throughout assigned properties and parking areas

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred
• Active security license/guard card preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable
• Familiarity with CCTV and surveillance systems is a plus
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is an asset
• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various environments
• Must be reliable, professional, and able to work overnight weekend shifts
