What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing people as needed, and communicate with local contacts and/or public agencies regarding security-related matters.

Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions, and/or assist with follow-up actions in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Baton certification is preferred.

A guard card/license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
