As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, lobbies, restricted areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support site protocols for employee, guest, and vendor entry.
• Assist with emergency-related situations, alarms, and/or evacuation procedures while maintaining clear communication with site contacts, employees, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A current guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
