As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Saint Joseph, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will contribute to security-related operations with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity while helping put people first each day.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance, access, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and/or other access points, verifying credentials and logging visitor, vehicle, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Support order at the location by reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or suspicious behavior, following post orders, and assisting with evacuations, medical events, and other emergency situations when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
