As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Reading, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related duties appropriate to the location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout utility-related facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, gates, and restricted areas, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document security-related activities according to site policies.

Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
