Now Interviewing for Part Time Security Officers!

Working in conjunction with a Metropolitan Transit Task Force and our client security teams. MetroLink security professionals provide safety and security of riders on the transit light rail system, station platforms throughout the Greater St. Louis region. Customer service skills are a high priority. This is an outdoor posted position. Duties will include post security until relieved.

Requirements: 1 year Security Experience, Computer Literacy

Pay Rate: $20.13 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, assisting with access control procedures and helping to address unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.
Support day-to-day operations by communicating with site contacts, providing directions and information, and helping to maintain order during routine activities and/or special events.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
