As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and strong communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a company or assigned vehicle to cover the site and support staff and visitors as needs arise. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and local emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas, monitoring for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unwanted behavior.
Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or authorization, and directing visitors according to site procedures.
Complete required logs, incident reports, and other documentation, and communicate observations and security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience OR 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years' security experience.
Be 21+ years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
