As a Security Officer Screening in North Brunswick, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, screen visitors and/or team members, and support site operations through visible presence, strong communication, and customer service. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen people, packages, bags, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed screening requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access, prohibited items, and/or irregular activity within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entrances, docks, and perimeter points as needed, noting conditions that may require security-related follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
