As a Security Officer Screening Monitor in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech and telecommunications location, helping to monitor access, screen visitors and/or items, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Screen employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or personal property in accordance with site protocols, documenting findings and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while helping to support orderly entry and exit operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, entry points, and perimeter locations as directed, noting operational issues and/or conditions that may need attention.
• Assist with badge verification, visitor processing, and/or access control tasks while maintaining detailed logs, reports, and communication related to daily security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
