Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Retail Patrol Full-Time in Anaheim Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a bustling retail and mall location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle, supporting a welcoming environment for visitors and tenants. What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
Communicate professionally with the public, tenants, and/or vendors while representing Allied Universal on site.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by site management.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
