Job Description

As an Airport Security Officer - CCTV in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence and exceptional customer service. In the CCTV unit, you will not only be monitoring CCTV cameras and coverage of all the airport property. This position also includes being dispatched to door and gate breaches to ensure procedures have not been violated.

Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or travelers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control processes, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, perimeter routes, and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary by post and/or shift.
Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activity by following post orders and site policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site personnel and/or public agency partners as directed.
Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and logs, and communicate relevant information to supervision and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
