Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Colorado Springs, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location as an unarmed driving patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. In this customer-facing role, you will support access awareness, respond to site needs, and deliver professional communication and service while representing a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support orderly operations, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related matters.
• Support daily operations by following Allied Universal post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security-related requests as appropriate for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
