Job Description

As a Security Officer - Walking Patrol Rounds in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, observe for unusual activity, and document findings using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating concerns per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and building perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or access control issues.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or shipping documentation as required, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate observations with Allied Universal supervision and client representatives as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
