Job Purpose
Support the Regulated Plant Security Operation function to interface with Enterprise Functions, and Security External Stakeholders in relations to all security operation activities that could potentially affect security and plant operations. Identify all support operation activities as it relates to Plant security operations to ensure appropriate staffing and any additional support required for all activities. Support and mentor the guard force members (Contractors) ensuring their availability at required posts in prevention of radiological sabotage and theft, diversion or proliferation of special nuclear materials as well as ensuring the protection of Enterprise staff, contractors, sub-contractors and visitors, sensitive information and assets through the implementation of the Physical Protection Plan(s).

- Support the implementation of Operations Security processes, procedures, and policies to ensure the effective functioning of and compliance to the Physical Protection Plan.
- Support the Contract Security Guard Force in the section to ensure a high level of compliance to access control and security patrol procedures and practices.
- Support effective access control processes at all access control points.
- Support an effective patrol schedule to ensure a high level of protection of sensitive areas and vital equipment.
- Oversee the effective use of access control search equipment.
- Provide oversight of effective surveillance and observation of abnormal actions by persons and/or vehicles in or near security-controlled areas.
- Ensure that security equipment is always 100% functional.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all Plant Security Operations information and documentation.
- Direct and assist Alarm Station Operations when requested for alarm response and compensatory postings.
- Complete and maintain all qualification to meet the regulatory requirements. Activity: Program DevelopmentResponsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Support and review all security operation activities required for the safe operation of Barakah NPP.
- Provide input and support the security operation including fuel transportation and all phases of outage activities.
- Assist with the promotion of a culture of compliance, risk mitigation and accountability for all activities performed by Operations Security
- Assist with the identification of opportunities to improve efficiencies in Operations Security processes and procedures.
- Provide mentoring to contracted guard force members.
- Support and review all security operation related reports and schedules, take necessary actions to ensure effectiveness and report those to the Plant Security Operation Team Leader.
- Perform assessments related to plant security operation activities.
- Develop and adhere to schedules related to security operation, Alarm Station and outage related activities, generate reports, as appropriate.
- Assist with management condition reports and corrective actions as related to Operation Security activities.

- Support and communicate all Security Operation activities to ensure that there is always adequate staffing to maintain services.
- Supervise and oversee the logistic and budgetary issues related to Plant Security Operations activities.

- Support the Plant Security Operation Team Leader through meetings, this includes agenda planning, recording and following up on agreed actions for all security operation related activities.
- Support the security Operation department Team Leaders of Shifts to ensure the availability of guard force members (Contractor) at all security posts to ensure non violation to the regulatory requirements.
- Sharing information and knowledge and enabling cooperative working relationships across Security teams.
- Provide input into the development of the Division’s systems, processes and procedures, as well develop and implement the Department’s systems and processes.
- Identifying potential areas of improvement to ensure efficient, effective, safe and risk-free operations as well as compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Promote and support a culture of compliance, risk avoidance/mitigation and corporate accountability throughout the organization.
- Work with internal/ external auditors and technical subject matter experts to satisfy internal and external audit requirements and compliance.
- Identify and implement opportunities for efficiencies to improve plant security operations achieve program goals.
- Support the plant security operation department to ensure it is meeting the regulations, nuclear industry best practices, and Nawah standards.
- Ensure compliance with Nawah filing and records retention policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve plant security operational activities.
