Security Sargent

Avari hotel Lahore is looking for Security Sargent.

Purpose of the Position

The position is responsible for conducting regular security rounds and physical inspections of all hotel entrances, walkways, exits, and surrounding premises to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor movements of all individuals entering and exiting hotel premises, especially during late hours
• Conduct regular and vigilant security rounds to identify and prevent potential threats
• Maintain proper check and balance of people entering and leaving the property
• Record all incidents accurately in the Log Book and report urgent matters to the Security Officer and emergencies to the Chief Security Officer
• Be fully familiar with hotel emergency procedures and execute them when required
• Ensure smooth security operations at the assigned duty post
• Provide training and guidance to outsourced security staff
• Respond to guest complaints, inquiries, and issues in a courteous and professional manner
• Maintain effective security standards at all times
• Build and maintain a healthy working relationship within the department and with other employees

Job Specifications

Education:

• Minimum Matric

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years in a similar role
• Total 5 years of relevant experience preferred
• Preference will be given to candidates with Armed Forces or Intelligence background
• Hospitality industry experience will be an added advantage

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of security discipline
• Customer service oriented
• Team player with initiative and self-discipline
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Confident, well groomed, and presentable
• Strong time management skills

Language Requirements

• Basic understanding of English
• Fluent in Urdu

Working Conditions

• Requires high level of vigilance and attention to detail
• Physically fit and capable of extended walking and patrolling
