Job Title: Email Systems, Security & Domain Services Engineer

Job Summary:

The Email Systems, Security & Domain Services Engineer is responsible for designing, administering, securing, and optimizing enterprise email platforms and domain-related services. The role ensures high availability, protection against threats, and seamless integration of messaging services with organizational systems.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise email systems (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, Exchange Online, M365).

-Manage email security solutions, including anti-spam, anti-phishing, email encryption, and threat protection tools.

-Administer and secure domain services such as DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and certificate services.

-Monitor email performance, service availability, mail flow, and security events.

-Implement policies and configurations to protect against email-based attacks and ensure compliance.

-Troubleshoot complex issues related to email delivery, authentication, and domain configurations.

-Integrate email systems with mobile device management (MDM), identity services, and enterprise applications.

-Maintain documentation for configurations, architectures, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.

-Support incident response and root cause analysis for messaging and domain-related incidents.

-Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and network teams to ensure secure and reliable messaging operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

-8+ years of experience managing enterprise email systems and domain services.

-Strong knowledge of Exchange Server, Exchange Online, M365 security tools, and email routing standards.

-Expertise in DNS, TLS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and certificate management.

-Familiarity with SIEM tools, email threat protection platforms, and security best practices.

-Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.

-Preferred certifications: MS-203, SC-200, SC-300, or equivalent.
