Security Systems Engineer (CCTV & Access Control)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Systems Engineer to manage, configure, maintain, and support CCTV and Access Control systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with leading Video Management Systems (VMS) such as Milestone, Genetec, and Avigilon, along with knowledge of Access Control platforms. Experience with NEDAP systems is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV systems and Video Management Software (VMS), including Milestone, Genetec, and Avigilon.
• Perform system integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support for security systems.
• Configure and manage cameras, recording servers, storage systems, and client workstations.
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality of CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Install, configure, and support Access Control Systems, including NEDAP and other industry-standard platforms.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams during project execution.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and system drawings as required.
• Provide user training and technical guidance to end-users.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, project specifications, and security regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Milestone XProtect
• Genetec Security Center
• Avigilon Control Center (ACC)
• Experience with NEDAP Access Control System is an advantage.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, IP cameras, servers, storage solutions, and Windows operating systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in system integration projects.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for security systems.
• Familiarity with biometric systems, ANPR, intercom, and perimeter security systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
