Job description:

Innerlink Security & Sound is seeking an experienced technician with at least 1 year recent low voltage experience.

Must be familiar with any of the following installations or servicing of alarm systems, pool alarms, video surveillance, central vacuums, audio, video, intercom, networking and/or home automation.

The applicant would be responsible for installing, programming, testing and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of burglar alarm systems.
• Familiar with various types of alarm brands.
• Programming, testing and troubleshooting.
• Smart home device installation, programming and troubleshooting.
• Customer training.
• Design and install security systems based on client needs and specifications.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of security systems.
• Perform system upgrades and modifications as required.
• Provide technical support to clients and address any issues or concerns
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective security operations.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in security technology.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Security Specialist or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of system design and installation
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and hand tools
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical specifications
- Understanding of computer networking and hardware components
- Knowledge of locksmithing principles and techniques
- Mechanical aptitude for working with various security system components

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
