Role and Responsibilities
This is an intern-level temporary role lasting until Labor Day. This role will require primarily nights, and will not exceed 24 hours per week.
All positions require the ability to work Saturday, Monday and Tuesday nights, but actual hours/schedules are flexible depending on availability and business needs.
Previous experience in customer service, call centers, CCTV monitoring, security, loss prevention or related law enforcement field is highly desired
- Coordinate responses to identified security events on a client’s site and contact the appropriate emergency service(s) to respond to a verified security event as needed
- To monitor various sites by watching video snippets and/or live video feed.
- Identify potential threats and risks of the sites
- To communicate through a standard escalation model
- Record pertinent monitoring events for archiving and investigation (identification, escalation, resolution, etc.)
- Ensure the quality of the existing alarm and that alarm volume is at a manageable level
- Ensure all systems are online, noting any malfunctions and notify the Monitoring Center supervisor of all issues
- Communicate with Monitoring Center for any alarm related issues
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of, and adherence to, site protocols
- Contribute to team effectiveness by keeping informed and sharing knowledge and technical skills
- Safeguard all confidential information whilst exercising due care to prevent its improper disclosure or use
- Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions
- Office environment, IN-PERSON
- Must be able to work 10-12-hour shifts
- Must be able to work overnights and weekends
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Min. of a high school diploma
- Previous experience in customer service, call centers, CCTV monitoring, security, loss prevention or related law enforcement field is highly desired
