Seed Production Officer

Job Description:

• Plan and supervise seed production activities in assigned territories.
• Coordinate with contract growers/farmers for seed production programs.
• Monitor crop growth, field conditions, and production practices to ensure quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance to farmers regarding cultivation, pest control, fertilizer application, and crop management.
• Ensure compliance with seed certification standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct field inspections and crop evaluations during different crop stages.
• Maintain proper documentation and production records.
• Coordinate with the quality control and processing teams for seed testing and handling.
• Ensure timely harvesting, processing, and delivery of seeds.
• Prepare production reports and forecasts for management.

Degree Title:

• BSc (Hons.) Agriculture / MSc Agriculture
• Specialization in Agronomy, Plant Breeding Genetics, or Seed Science Technology preferred.

Experience: Fresh Graduate to 06 months
